For our client Valmet, Nordmark has machined one of our largest single projects, 1700 tons distributed on 180 parts. The item is a radiation protection shield in a neutron source, which can be compared to a giant microscope for the study of different materials — from plastics and pharmaceuticals, to engines, proteins, molecules and nanotechnology.
