Nordmark is ISO 45001 certified

Nordmark has recently achieved certification to ISO 45001, the international standard for occupational health and safety management. The certification marks an important milestone and clearly demonstrates that we work systematically, structured and purposefully with health and safety, security and well-being – across the entire organization.

At Nordmark, occupational health and safety is not something that runs alongside daily operations. It is an integral part of how we plan our work, carry out tasks and follow up afterwards. It is about looking after one another, taking responsibility in everyday working life and creating a framework where safety and quality go hand in hand.

“With ISO 45001, we complete a unified management foundation. Together with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, the certifications provide us with a strong framework for running the company responsibly, structured and professionally – with a focus on people, quality and sustainable operations.”
– Henrik Overbye, CEO

Three certifications – one common foundation

The three ISO certifications are closely interconnected and are not intended as separate systems, but as one integrated tool in our daily work. ISO 9001 ensures quality and consistent processes, ISO 14001 sets the framework for responsible environmental management, and ISO 45001 strengthens our focus on occupational health and safety, security and well-being.

When the standards work together, we gain better overview, clearer responsibilities and more consistent workflows – regardless of where in the organization the work is carried out. This makes it easier to make the right decisions in everyday operations and ensures that occupational health and safety is always considered alongside quality, environment and operational performance.

“For Nordmark, the certifications are not an end goal, but an active management tool. They help us build a robust and responsible company where a safe working environment, high quality and responsible environmental practices support and reinforce one another.”
– Jonas Christensen, QHSE Manager
